I watched #HotelArtemis today. It's a pretty good movie. Go watch when it comes out on Friday. Or I guess Thursday night if there are showings.
I watched one episode of TOS and then dropped it.
The show is definitely a product of its time and I don't just mean the SFX and visual quality.
Or as I like to say, I'm too young for this shit.
still trying to fill the void after my binge of every star trek episode. I'm feeling a Daria re-watch.
I am sad... Stephen Hawking died today.

I'm a little sad. I just deleted my Linux partitions from my external hard drive and reclaimed the space by enlarging the NTFS partition.
But the fact is, I just don't use Linux nearly enough to justify using it.
#streaming #mixer
Stream is over. I'll probably get it up on YouTube soon.
#streaming #mixer #mechwarrioronline #mwo
In a few minutes, I'm gonna start playing some Mechwarrior Online, hopefully on-stream at https://mixer.com/formedras and I hope someone will actually watch.
Please don't mind the bottom and right sides being blank; I haven't figured out what to put there yet.
#MechWarriorOnline #MWO #SteamController
I made a Steam Controller configuration for MechWarrior Online, and finally posted it publically on Steam. It's not complete yet (hence the config having "Beta" in its name), but if anyone would like to try it out, I'd love input on how to complete and improve it.

(I thought I posted this toot earlier, but none of my Home feeds has it, apparently.)
#themagicschoolbus #themagicschoolbusridesagain
I'm watching The Magic School Bus Rides Again. States of matter episode. Jyoti needs an invention idea that is three-in-one. As soon as the subject came up... of course Jyoti's going to make something involving ice, water, and steam.
The show could use some more unpredictability. Also not claiming things are new to the class (minus Jyoti) when they were in the old series. New to Jyoti is fine. But new to D.A.? Or Arnold? No.
#steamcontroller #steaminput #gamedev
I'm writing a guide about proper Steam Input implementation for games, because of a couple of games that do it horribly. (Civilization VI by Firaxis/2K and Hyper Universe by Nexon.)
Problem is, I haven't actually done it myself. All my experience is programming theory and making layouts. I still think it's sufficient, though.
Here's the link for my first draft; working on the second.

#fairlyoddparents #superhero #dating
My brother's watching FOP right now; episode where Timmy's a magic (wish) based superhero.
When I saw Trixie give masked him a kiss, I remembered something: doesn't wooing the girl with the mask on wreck your chances without the mask? (Tobey Maguire aside, of course.)
I mean, it's not exactly safe for her to know... Oh, wait. By wooing her, you negate the ENTIRE REASON for wearing the mask in the first place!
The idea I have that scares me most here is the one that maybe I should make said clients myself.
None of the UWP clients are worthwhile, though I like Mastalab on Android. (Except for the one-account-at-a-time thing.)
I know the structure of it:
Mastodon logic as a C# Standard 2.0 class library
Custom or semi-custom Interfaces for separating the library from actual system and network stuffs
And then wrap it up in pretty UWP and Xamarin.Android views.
#mastodon
Also the web client needs more columns. Post, Home, Notifications, then a variable number for local, federated, and foreign timelines (seriously, I want to be able to look at foreign-instance "local" timelines), multiple conversations, and anything else I may need/want including browser plugins and Greasemonkey scripts.
#mastodon
I need multi-account clients (Android and UWP, seriously I'd rather UWP than Windows Desktop) that let me look at my Home and Notifications for all accounts at once, especially now that I just opened up my fourth Mastodon account.
