if someone's support of black people not getting murdered by police is contingent on how well behaved the protests are, they were going to find some reason not to care anyway
respectability politics are a dead end
@SeanAloysiusOBrien If your "protest" consists of destroying other peoples' livelihoods and property, you're not protesting, you're looking for an excuse to cause mayhem and not be called out for it. Violence directed at corrupt police I get, but not violence against communities and businesses, some of which are owned by black people. A black retired police captain was murdered in the street the other day trying to stop rioters from looting a store. Is his life worth less than George Floyd's?
go bootlick somewhere else liberal
you're the subject of this post, not the audience
@SeanAloysiusOBrien If you were going to get upset about people disagreeing with you, then why did you post it publicly on social media? You seem confused about how the internet works.
you're supposed to lick the boot not swallow it kiddo
@SeanAloysiusOBrien Methinks you're high, because you're making no sense right now.
would all make sense if you'd only read eduoard siddons' treatise on power
@SeanAloysiusOBrien Let me ask you this, hypothetically speaking. If Mark Zuckerberg shot your dog, would you burn down Jay Z's house? What sense does it make to attack people who had nothing to do with the crimes being protested? If Officer Badass shoots your dog, you burn down Officer Badass's house. I'm not trying to dissuade you from supporting the protesters, I'm just curious why people have a problem with suggesting the violence be properly directed.
siddon this dick and balls bootlicker
@SeanAloysiusOBrien You're obviously not interested in having an intelligent discussion. Take care.
I thought "go bootlick somewhere else" was clear enough but apparently it took you a while to get the message
@gerowen It's very sad that an old man laid down his life for someone's property.
@a_bun Agreed. It's also sad that the looters thought it necessary to murder somebody over what, a couple of TVs? I'm not against the protesters, I'm against the people taking advantage of the situation for their own personal gain. I saw a briefing from the mayor of, I believe St. Paul, Minnesota, where he stated everybody they arrested last night were from out of state. Methinks there are third parties at work behind the scenes to defame the protests and BLM movement.
