Watching Jurassic Park on Netflix is a nostalgia trip.

Nedry uses an ADB keyboard & mouse from contemporary Apple Macs of the era (1993).

Lex practically craps herself with excitement at the prospect of the cars displaying park information on touch screens with the help of "an interactive CD-ROM".

I also 100% believe the interface to find security protocols for the visitor centre in the control room would be slow as balls if it also had to render & animate a 3D landscape for it to function!

99% of all "why does windows do this weird thing" questions can be answered by "decades of compatibility"

I will not stop spreading the gospel of getting military surplus utility pouches to strap to your belt to circumvent the womens' clothing lack-of-pockets problem.

In other news I've switched to using a PS/2 keyboard on gaming PC instead of a mechanical USB one and would 100% recommend the switch.

There's no drivers randomly installing/uninstalling or reconnecting, it works automatically on every operating system, and the response times are ridiculous. 🀩

This keyboard still has satisfying clacks, and in my case a touch of nostalgia because I learned to touch type on one of these! 😁

Yes, that’s right teenagers and β€œearly 20s” folk. As you approach your 30s, your digestive tract slowly starts letting you down.

Enjoy all those sweets & junk food while you can, because summer can’t last for ever. Mwahahahahaha! 😈

*weeps*

To belatedly celebrate my 28th birthday I bought and devoured a tiny chocolate cake 🍰

Unfortunately because I’m 28, I can’t digest cake properly anymore. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

This is an ad from a 1998 issue of Macworld, and I feel like it could be a meme template.

Yo. Seriously.

When someone's letting an idea out into the world, maybe not just squash them with "well you have to solve this problem".

Instead, just share your own stream of consciousness, and help spread the general idea, and supply it with your own thoughts and concerns.

Don't push people down, help build each other up. That's the whole point.
