A month or so back when I was still on the emacs.ch instance, @louis@emacs.ch (the instance admin) had posted a poll asking whether or not emacs.ch users would, hypothetically, want a person like Luneduke to join the instance. At the time I couldn't tell if they were just expressing some kind of stupid liberal tolerance or were actively flirting with libertarian hacks (which inevitably means stepping on a path towards ever more reactionary politics).
Well, it turns out, yes, they are in fact flirting with libertarian/reactionary politics.
I'm in the Lisp discord and yesterday, randomly, I saw that Louis was in there (they had posted a message). Curious, I clicked their discord profile and saw it was linked to a twitter account. On said twitter account they are posting: near-conspiracy theory "hot takes", railing against dems, reposting Eric S Raymond tranphobic posts, reposting Luneduke dogwhistles etc. They follow JDVance, Jordan Peterson, Eric S Raymond and other accounts I can't see.
And I can confirm that it is them because its the same pfp as their github account (and for a short time they used it on emacs.ch as well), they post the same tech interests from the twitter account (Lisp, Go, C, Postgres), write german comments as well as English, and everything from their Dubai travels and more matches going months back.
Archived twitter account: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/XFaJ5 (stefflat41)
Archived Github account (pfp only changed yesterday after initial post): https://web.archive.org/web/20240823173315/https://github.com/louis77
Attached are screenshots showing how I initially found this linked to Louis. Posts below will show other screenshots of twitter interactions I personally find damning.

Note: Initially this post was followers-only, but after sitting on it a little bit, I think it might be better to make it public so more folks on emacs.ch can decide what actions, if any, to take in light of this. When I first posted this as followers-only, a mutual of mine, Amy, made a public message that mentioned Louis. He deleted the twitter and discord account (or changed names), as well as changed his Github profile picture to try to sever the evidence but it was all archived beforehand, so
Leave, stay, it doesn't matter to me. I initially left because of what I assumed were political differences of the liberal vs communist/radical type. Turns out I was dealing with a bit more of a reactionary. The info is here, do what you want with it.
Edit:
Louis is now attempting to post generic Dems nonsense with his reactivated twitter account. The archive shows his actual views before the delete/reactivation. Right-wingers are dumb, man.
@zyd Curse you for making me read ESR’s idiocy. What a tool.
i had wondered why that instance had been on some banlists for a while do you have any insight on whether that's related?
@einsiedlerspiel Not related. IIRC its because of Louis liberal stance on Meta/Threads.
